My house was left very dirty, from cleaning the chimney there was a black dust that filled one of the rooms, it left a significant amount of dust in the house.

The tech was very nice but did try to talk me out of the service twice. Then, he recommended using another chimney sweep to finish the job! Apparently I need a sleeve in my chimney but you don't do that work as you don't find it profitable.
